Resin epoxy is not hard to care for but there are definitely a few tricks that you should know about up front. These tips can help keep your custom pieces looking new for years and years to come.

Tips and Tricks

Safe Temprature

Although resin epoxy is a very solid material after its cured, I do not recommend having anything over 120F/50C sitting on it. Anything over that temperature may cause the resin to melt and it could destroy the art piece.

Cleaning

You may clean the surface by hand with soapy water. After you've washed the piece, wipe it with a polishing rag to bring out the shine. If you're washing any of the wooden serve ware, I would also recommend putting a little bit of olive/mineral wood oil over the wood surface to keep it healthy.

Please DON'T!

Do Not Soak in water
Do Not put anything hotter than 120F/50C on top of resin epoxy
Do Not try to clean the art piece with alcohol or nail polish
Do Not use rough surface sponge to clean any resin epoxy surface
Do Not put it in a dishwasher
Do Not put it in a microwave
Do Not cut over the resin epoxy parts of the board
Do not cut over resin epoxy

Safety

All the materials used for the art are safe for serving and plating food
The wooden portion of all the cutting boards is safe for cutting food

You are more than welcome to contact me through my "Contact" page and send pictures of any damages that might have occurred. I would be more than happy to take a look. If the damages aren't too serious, I will give you advice on how to fix it yourself. However, if the damage is too significant, I might advise you to send it my way for repair.
